We have quite a lot of skuid pages deployed and often embed html in the template component on V1 pages. Is there anyway at all to incoporate HTML (such as iframes etc) on Skuid NLX pages?

+1+1I assume you are using V2 Pages (where there is no “template” component).
The “Text Component” has a code editor in its “Advanced properties” that can still be used as you describe above. You’ll have to select “Enable HTML” on its properties for this to work.
But its all still there.
